Gaza Under Siege: UNRWA report - Ongoing Tragedy and Global Indifference Worsen the Suffering

Due to the ongoing horrors happening in Gaza, people have started to get used to the situation and stopped writing about it because readers have lost interest and stopped engaging.

Guys, over 2 million people are still living there under the worst conditions imaginable — that’s the population size of a small country.

The recent UNRWA report was devastating. Gaza still needs support and donations. Right now, people live on just 20% of the land because 65 evacuation orders have taken over 80% of the area.

The report says many families have been displaced over 10 times, moving from place to place. Imagine the level of chaos and instability they are facing repeatedly.

Most of the water wells have been bombed, so 75% of families are surviving on only 6 liters of water per person per day. The minimum drinking, cooking, and basic hygiene requirement is 15 liters.

Sewage water has become a common sight around the camps, and pests and rodents are everywhere.

The report states that the most common illnesses among children are diarrhea and skin infections.

In October, Israel allowed only 971 aid trucks into Gaza. Before the war, 500 trucks would enter every single day!

There are 660,000 children out of school, and UNRWA classrooms are now focused on teaching kids about the dangers of unexploded weapons. Imagine that!

Most hospitals in Gaza have been bombed and are no longer functioning. UNRWA health clinics are suffering from severe shortages of all medications.

Mobile medical labs now rely on just 4 basic tests out of 35 essential tests they should have.

The food reaching Gaza is very limited, mainly flour, rice, chickpeas, lentils, cheese, and canned fish.

Anything else, like vegetables, fruits, and meat, is considered a luxury and is extremely expensive — if it's even available!

The bombings and massacres continue, and people live in constant fear, expecting death at any moment.

So far, 43,061 people have been killed, including 13,319 children, 7,216 women, 3,447 elderly, and 16,735 young adults.

I know that most people won’t read these numbers carefully.

Even worse, only 40,717 of the dead have been recovered and buried; the rest are still trapped under the rubble.

Please, don’t forget the people of Gaza. Donate even a little if you can. And if you can’t donate, at least pray for them.

The donation link for UNRWA is in the first comment, along with the report and statistics mentioned in this post.

Share, and please don’t stop talking about them. They need our voices more than any empty trend.
